If I am not happy with my attorney and haven't heard from him and my court date is set for tomorrow, can I change my attorney at the hearing?

Re: Workers comp

You can change your attorney at any time. HOWEVER, under Missouri law, your attorney is entitled to a fee for the work he has done thus far.

Lack of communication is the number one complaint clients have with their attorneys. If calls, emails or letters to your attorney go unanswered, you may want to change lawyers. Make sure you are being reasonable in your expetations. Few lawyers will respond to a client same day, 100% of the time. But if you call and follow up in a few days and don't hear from your attorney, it could indicate a problem.
