Legal Question in Banking Law in Montana
If two people are together, get a savings account in both their names, then split up but neither take there name off the savings account, does either party have a right to the money in the account regardless of who put the money in there?

I will assume that the law does not matter to you as much as the morally right thing. The right thing to do is take only what you deposited, and notify the person you used to care about. Take what's yours.
