Legal Question in Banking Law in Montana

release of confidential information

My credit union released my bank deposit info and cell phone # to someone who was trying to collect on my girlfriend debt. She is not on my account. The reason I know this info was released is that on the day i got a income tax refund he called my phone and asked me if i would cover her overdue balance as i just got a refund. Even i didnt know the refund was there yet. I contacted the manager of the credit union and asked them how this could happen and they just said that they could reprimand the teller. I feel violated that this happened and have pulled my accounts from the credit union. Is there any legal action that i could take against them?
