Bank wishes to charge me

I bought my first car late 2005, and i struggled to make payments as they were taking up 50% of my monthly earnings, either way i lost my job and eventually the car got repossesed in october of 2006. I just got called by a company wishing to claim on the rest of what i owe, but threatening to charge me with attempting to defraud a creditor. Im a college student barely making endsmeat as is, with problems like how am i going to pay rent. Do I have any rights? what can I do? Please help.

It sounds like another collection agency using illegal threats making you think you will go to jail and to motivate you to borrow the money from your parents. I do not know the particulars of your case but, based on my experience, I doubt they will do more than yell and make threats.
