Are there any legal ramifications for provoking an individual into beating up another individual?

Such actions are termed a conspiracy in the law, and a co-conspirator is treated the same as the actor. Depending upon the whim of the prosecutor, it may also be the act of an accomplice or termed aiding-and-abetting.
