When witness recants statement can't charges be dropped immediately?
When a witness recants statement can't the charges she said happened be dropped right away so I can get out of jail or at least the bail to be lowered?

Usually no, the charges can't be dropped immediately. As you can imagine, there are a number of reasons why a witness might recant, for example a threat on their life, etc. For all of those reasons, testimony of a recanting witness is viewed generally with suspicion. The facts of each case are different, of course, and I am answering here in general terms only. Hope this helps.
