Legal Question in Family Law in Montana

My divorce decree says when I get remarried the child support could be reevaluated. But Montana state law says that child support is not reevaluated until it has been 3 years. I was wondering which one would hold first. Thanks.

If no other event triggers a recalculation, the three year provision applies. In your case, remarriage might be a significant enough change in circumstances to warrant a new calculation.
