If Child Support Enforcement Division is collecting the support for the payee, you can contact your regional CSED office and talk to the case manager.

All this information is on the paperwork you have in your file. You'll need your name (of course), the case number, and your case manager's name.

Make an offer.

CSED will likely speak to the payee.

If the payee accepts, CSED probably won't object. Either you or CSED will file the agreement with the court and to send a copy to the other party and CSED. Most likely, the court will accept the agreement. This will obligate you to pay the amount, but it also protects you from future claims for the original amount.
