Legal Question in Health Care Law in Montana

doctor patient dating

I would very much like to ask my doctor out. can I do so without ending my doctor patient status? I don't want to loose a good doctor if he is not interested. What should I do?

Find another doctor, get your files transferred, then do whatever you like.

It COULD BE a problem if you remain his patient. Once you're no longer a patient, and he no longer has your files, he's just a guy with a medical license.
