Bankruptcy
If a collection attorney took me to court, and the judge ruled in their favor, can I then, or still, file for bankruptcy?

Re: Bankruptcy
Having a judgment against you does not stop you from filing for bankruptcy; lots of bankruptcy debtors have judgments against them. A different question is whether the judgment would go away after the bankruptcy. Most judgments/debts are discharged in bankruptcy but not all. If the creditor argues & proves fraud, for example, that debt would not discharge.
