Chapter 7 is a solution for individual consumers--though if you are married you can file jointly. Individuals who own a sole proprietorship can file Chapter 7 so long as the business isn't a railroad, bank or insurance company.
Other business entities would file under a Chapter 11. Hope that was clear enough for you.
