Legal Question in Business Law in Nebraska

I am an Independent Contractor and make a product for a local company. The payment agreement is that I am paid once a month for product that I had made in the previous month. However, the company is having difficultly paying me in a timely manner (I am waiting an additional 2-3 weeks past the scheduled pay day before receiving a pay check that will "clear"). Do I have right to without product or tools (which I purchased from the company to make their product) as a form of payment until they have paid me?

Any attorney will say you need to repost with clearer information. If you already purchased the tools, etc. from the company, how is holding onto them for what they owe going to work? If you're talking about product you've made for them, but haven't been paid for last month's product, that may be a different story. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
