Legal Question in Business Law in Nebraska
Do I have right to get paid for services provided?
During the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 I was involed with many professional projects (5) for a company owned by a friend. It was implied that the company ''would do something for me'', but never did. I would now like to invoice the company for the services I provided and get fair compensation. I have an accurate acounting of hours spent on these projects and a reasonable hourly rate for that work. Can I now invoice the company and hope to be paid after this much time has passed?

Re: Do I have right to get paid for services provided?
Your claim would be in quantum meruit, or for fair value of services. I would need to obtain more information, but most important is determining the value of services and the relevant Statute of Limitations.
