Re: Not Paid for Time

The short answer is either accept the gratuity they offered or make an appointment with an attorney and pay him to evaluate your case. Not all contracts must be in writing. Under certain circumstances, an oral contract is enforceable. The problem becomes proving the terms of the oral contract. Usually, each side will have their own unique version of the agreed to terms. This forces the judge to accept the version from the person with the most honest face, or at least the one who looks least like his brother-in-law.
