Legal Question in Business Law in Nebraska
Quick question regarding contracts for services such as photography:
Bride and Groom sign the contract. The check comes from the Mother of the Bride. Which one am I legally obligated to regarding decisions made, handing over materials, etc., - the contract signers or the check writer?
1 Answer from Attorneys
As a Franchise Attorney I would say the following. From the facts you relate, you don't have a contract with the mother of the Bride. But, you do have one with the Bride and Groom, so that's who you owe contractual obligations to. That's how I see it, in the absence of any other pertinent information. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
