Legal Question in Business Law in Nebraska

I am being sued in small claims

I sold some items on Yahoo auctions. I sent items. I offered 30 day money back, but the buyer is suing me in his own county. He lives in Nebraska, I live in Indiana. Can he do this? He told me he plans to keep items and any money he wins in court. I cant go to Nebraska for lawsuit.

Is it legal, yes. Does the court have jurisdiction over you, hard to say. Will he be able to collect from you? Not likely, unless you have bank accounts with a bank that does business in Nebraska, or he comes into Indiana to register his judgment should one be granted.

Doesn't Yahoo have some type of mediation procedure?
