Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Nebraska

How To Sue To Get Buddhist Shrine Next To Ten Commandments

I am interested in sueing my local city government to force them to include a recognized Symbol and reveered monument of my Buddhist religion placed next to each and every publicly displayed Ten Commandments display on government property including the court house.

Today, the Supreme Court ruled the Christian's Ten Commandments allowed displayed in certain places, thus in my mind according to equality, all religions can now place their recognized symbols alongside with equal value.

The US Supreme Court has spoken, and now equality in religion should be shown and I want to force the state and local governments to show equal consideration for Buddhism everywhere the Christian Ten Commandments are allowed exhibited publicly on the tax payer's dime.

How to do this?

Thank you.

Before you so, you might consider just asking the city to put such a shrine in place or to let you do so yourself. If the city refuses you might have grounds for a lawsuit (and I don't know whether you will or not), but the mere fact that the city hasn't done this on its own initiative does not seem sufficient to create a cause of action for you.
