Credit Agency Buying a Judgement Debt
Is it possible for a collection agency to buy a debt that already has a judgement against it by the courts?

Yes, a judgment can be assigned or sold to another party for collection purposes. The debt can only be collected once though, so you would have a defense if you paid it off to the judgment creditor and some one else tried to collect on it.
