Re: arrest After radio broadcast

There is no way to tell how soon someone will be arrested. It will depend on the issuance of arrest warrants, or probable cause for a warrantless arrest.

If law enforcement believes that the person may try to avoid arrest, they may act sooner than if the person is likely to remain in the area. They may also choose to wait in an effort to gather more evidence against other possible conspirators. There is simply no way to tell when any arrests will take place without knowing what law enforcement is thinking. They don't share this information with defense attorneys or the public. The only time limit is the statute of limitations for the crime. That limit will depend on whether the charges are federal ones or state ones, and what specifically is charged.
