Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nebraska
Expudgement in Nebraska
4 years ago I pled guilty to a bounced check under $100 in Adams county NE, and I now live in Lincoln. I have recently applied for a job and got it, but they had to resend the offer due to the misdemeanor offense. They had guarantee me a position but not until it is off my record. Is there a way to get it off my record soon and not have to wait the full seven years before it comes off my record. Also I have no other convictions other than that one.

Actually, you should be able to get the conviction set aside right now. Talk to a Hastings attorney and they should be able to help you with it.
