Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nebraska

My husband is on probation until trial is over.

My husband has been charged with Vehicular Homicide, Manslaughter, DUI, and Theft of over $1,500. The other vehicles passanger had died at the scene. He is currently on probation until the trial is over. Is it legal for the victims family to contact it probation officer asking to have certain things added to his probation?
