Can a minor be sent to state prison?
I just found out my 14 y/o minor son is being charged with aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon. No prior convictions. He plead not guilty at his arrainment. He was defending himself. What is his wrost case result?

It depends primarily on whether he is tried as an adult or in juvenile court. In either case he is entitled to have an attorney appointed by the court to represent him if he cannot afford one. The worst possible outcome depends on a number of factors you have not addressed. He needs an attorney to represent him; he can ask that attorney for a worst case analysis.
