How long does a DUI stay on your record in the state of Nebraska? Will a second offense after 18 years affect the Judge's decision?

A DUI will stay on your court record permanently. Any DUI more than 12 years old cannot be used for enhancement purposes. However, it may influence the judge's decision in sentencing you. You would be well advised to hire an attorney to ensure that, if you are convicted, the prior DUI has little or no impact on your sentencing.
