Legal Question in Family Law in Nebraska

moving out of state

My ex just let me know that she moved 7 hours away to another state. I found this out when I asked her when she would be dropping the kids off for their weekend with me. We were never married and we only have verbal agreements as far as visitations go. Idealisticaly I want to file for full custody and have been building a case for over a year. Where do I start?

Re: moving out of state

You need to immediately file your case for custody. Although you can do it yourself, you would be better served by hiring an attorney.
