Legal Question in Family Law in Nebraska

Visitation Rights of a Parent that is Incarcerated

My Fiance is having problems with the mother of his child wanting to bring their daughter to see him, he is Federally Incarcerated in Wisconsin but is from Nebraska, where his daughter lives, they were never married, paternity has been proven, there is no custody arrangement in force, he was ordered $50/mo child support, after he was incarcereated though. He was active in her life from birth to the day he went to prison. I was just wondering if there was any thing that we could put in force legally so that he will be able to see his daughter while he is incarcerated? Thank You For your time!

You can hire an attorney to file a motion for visitation. There is no guarantee that the court will grant it. However, if you don't file one, you are guaranteed he won't get visitation.
