Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nebraska

Been here since I was 6 years old

I know of a 21 yr old girl that has lived here since she was 6 yrs old. Her parents went back to their country several yrs ago and left her behind. She graduated from high school and is getting married and wants to be a citizen. What does she need to do without leaving the country. She feels this is her country. Please help

First,in order to determine whether she qualifies for permanent residence and eventual citizenship, we would need to know several more details regarding her situation, for example, how did she enter the country (with a visa, without inspection, etc.), the exact date of last entry to the USA, and whether she (or her parents) ever filed any application with the Immigration Service during the years she has been here.
