Immigration and legal marriage

Is a marriage legal if someone(a U.S. citizen) is married to an illegal immigrant who is living in the United States illegally?

Illegal immigrants have the right to marry. As long as their marriage follows the local law and is based on good faith love, the marriage should be legal. The US citizen spouse can even file for permanent residence petition for the foreign spouse. Feel free to send me an email if you need further help.
