Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Nebraska
can a boyfriend ask for a promise ring and a necklace back? Also a stereo that was a xmas gift? He also paid for carpeting in the house and he says if he leaves he can rip it out? Is this true?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say this. Gifts are gifts. They are your property unless you agree otherwise. Same with the carpeting. If he enters your house without permission, he is guilty of trespass and you can call the police. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
