Legal Question in Employment Law in Nebraska

Emloyment/Labor

Is an employer required to disclose information to an applicant as to why they will not be considered for employment? I have requested this information twice, no reason was given, however, I was told I would definitely NOT be considered. This troubles me greatly, and I would like to know the reason WHY I am not being considered.

No, an employer is not required to tell its applicants why they were not chosen. HOWEVER, what I am wondering is why do you want to know the reason, and what are you planning to do with that information. If you want to discuss this further, our lawfirm provides national consultations via the Internet with a lawyer who specializes in labor and employment law.
