Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nebraska
landlord problems
I own a mobile home in a very nice park. The landlord came to my home and took all the skirting off and replaced it with new skirting and then he put a bill in my mailbox for 900.00 to be paid in a reasonable amount of time. There was only one part of my old skirting that need to be replace but he did the whole thing. I have never told him to do it and I never saw or signed anything. What is my obligation to pay this? I had a estimate for 600.00 from someone else. He had no business doing this and I guess he has done other things to other people like threw away a bunch of toys that belonged to a neighbors grandchildren and she move instead of doing anything. I am not like that and I want to know my rights in this matter. I would pay 600.00 just so I don't have to move out of here and so I don't have to fight with him. I just want to put him in his place because I know he is wrong. Please advise me of my legal rights..

Re: landlord problems
An attorney will need to review the terms of your lot lease with the landlord to determine what rights you may or may not have. Wanting to put someone in their place costs money. Be prepared to pay your attorney much more than $900 to take action against the landlord so you can try to put him in his place.
