Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Nebraska
too much information about affair
My Boss had an affair with a co-worker. Now he is dealing with marital problems and personal guilt as a result. He continually updates me on his sex life and is very graphic. He also has mentioned graphic past sexual experiences. I have told him i don't want to know and that its none of my business and too much information. Then he cries and gets very emotional. It has created a very uncomfortable and unproductive work invirement. He recently told me that an associate who also had an affair told him he should fire his staff if they can't accept it what he did which makes me fear I may lose my job since I have not condoned his actions. Is this a form of sexual harrassment? Do I have any course of action against him for subjecting me to this unwanted and unsolicited constant graphic verbage? This is a small business. I can not go to anyone in the office to report this. He is the boss, president and owner of the company. This has been going on since last November. I am a male.

Re: too much information about affair
Since he is the owner, you have a choice: either put up with it or leave.
Sexual harassment is not the same as the inability to separate personal life from the business. He's obviously a man of poor judgment.
Make your excuses for a new job, get whatever severance you can work out and save yourself.
It's a hard case, at best, for a guy to go into court claiming sexual harassment because his boss is crying on his shoulder.
