Notice Of Lien on Property I Don't Own
The Fed IRS filed a Notice Of Tax Lien in my name on property which I don't own or have any monetary interest in. The Country Recorder entered it without doing any due diligence to find out if I have interest in the property listed. This Notice of Tax Lien is appearing on Credit reports that are obtained by prospective employers. I had written the county about the ''error of their ways'' but have not heard anything. How do I get this resolved and can I sue them? If affirmative, how?

There are specific procedures for handling this, which may include suing the IRS. Your tax attorney can advise you on this.
