Re: Drivers license signature allows law enforcement to search your vehicle
Your signature is just an acknowledgment that you have applied for the privilege of driving a motor vehicle on public roads. Using the driver's license by operating a motor vehicle on public roads places you under the jurisdiction of a number of laws related to the use of a motor vehicle. Police are authorized to search vehicles under certain circumstances whether you are the driver or a passenger of the vehicle.
