Leaving scene of a accident

I was ticketed for leaving the scene of a accident, failing to report within 4 hours. This accident happened four years ago. I rolled my vehicle in a ditch. No injuries or other parties involved. Does this go on my driving record or criminal and how long will it show for? I am having a background investigation and am worried about this coming up.
