Legal Question in Traffic Law in Nebraska
do warrants expire
In Feb 2000 I was pulled over in Nebraska and given a ticket & court date for drug paraphanelia (for an empty film canister) and possession of marijuana (for the butt of a joint they found under a carpet in my backseat). After my car was searched for 2.5 hours and that was all they found the officer said i could fight it in court because it was probably an illegal search that they did. I did not go to court, and there was a warrant for me listed on their website. The warrant is no longer listed. Do warrants expire?

Re: do warrants expire
It can be removed. They do not generally expire.
