Legal Question in Family Law in Nepal
both parents agree, custody modification
My ex is in his native country with our two daughters, both of which are US citizens. He is in the midst of getting the oldest one's passport updated since it expired a few years ago. As soon as everything is in order on his end, I will be going to get her.The younger daughter is staying there for the time being. He is giving me custody of the older one.I need to know what documents I need to take with me for him to sign in order for me to get physical custody of her so that she can be enrolled in school, etc. here in the US.Is there anything else I need to do?

I suggest that you have a local attorney draw up a petition for change of custody and mail it to him to sign and notarize. If it is purely an uncontested matter then you will have no problem getting him to consent to jurisdiction here. There are other ways to handle this problem but this is the best method in my opinion. Consult a local attorney for more options.
