Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada
Hello,
As I was playing blackjack at the Hacienda Casino and Hotel in Boulder, I leaned back on the chair. I did not lean back hard. However, the chair tipped backwards and I fell landing on my right side. I got right back up. Approx. 15 minutes later my left wrist began to sting. And about 30 minutes later I stood up and it was difficult putting weight on my left leg, therefore, I began to limp. The dealer did make a comment that those chairs tip all the time.
I did make a report and went to the hospital hours later as I thought it would feel much better in the morning but it did not. The diagnosis is a sprain on my knee as well as my wrist and finger. It is doubtful that I will have any long term damage and probably will be back to normal within 2 weeks.
My main concern is that the casino pays for my E.R. visit. And if I am entitled to any other monetary compensation I would like to try and collect that.
Please advise and possibly we can arrange a meeting.
Thank you,
Robert Terra

Robert,
You could be entitled to additional compensation beyond payment of your medical bills from the casino. Initially, the casino would need to be put on notice and a claim presented to the casino upon which compensation could be based.
Please feel free to contact me in order to discuss the next steps you would need to take,
