Legal Question in Administrative Law in Nevada
My husband has developed blood clots in his brain and is not incapable of thinking rationally. I have power of attornies created years ago. His future prognosis is that he has permanant damage and will never be able to function. Everything we own is jointly owned and I would like to learn how I proceed with life How can I find lawyer that specializes in this sort of thing.

The power of attorney might not extend through periods of a spouse's disability. If clear and convincing medical evidence exists as to a disability, Nevada law allows the imposition of an adult guardianship over the person and estate of a disabled individual. A court proceeding is required. Your attorney can explain further.
