buying a home after bankruptcy
I am wondering how long after you file bankruptcy do you have to wait to purchase a home? I want to file bankruptcy on bills that had built up before I received my disability.

You do not have to wait at all. If you file Chapter 13 you will have to get permission from the Court ti incur new debt.
