Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada
Can my car company repossess my car before I file bankruptcy? I just told them I am going to file and I am afraid they are going to repossess before I have the chance to file my paperwork.

Bankruptcy provides you with no protection until you actually file and have a case number. You were poorly advised to disclose your intention to file bankruptcy prematurely.
