Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada
Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
My husband and I filed Chapter 13 in April 2006 in Ohio. Our home was not included. In Nov 2006 he left me. We got a dissolution of marriage July 2007. He doesn't pay child support. I was unable to keep the house and it is currently in foreclosure. My daughter and I moved to Nevada for work in August 2007. Can I file Chapter 7 now and turn everything over, including the house?

Re: Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Yes you can. You will have to dismiss your case in Ohio, which can be done pretty easily and without having to go to Ohio to do.
