Employer filed Bankruptcy & Owes me a Wages

Wages, salaries & commissions earned 180 days before a bankruptcy was filed are considered as "priority claims." File a claim with the Bankruptcy court & the Trustee will eventually pay claims from the assets of the company. However, there is never any guarantee that there will be enough assets to fully pay you your wages, as other priority creditors such as the IRS will also have the right to be paid first.
