Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada
Company that owe me money filed chapter 11
A company owe me money because I over paid them and now they
filed chapter 11. How can I get my money back? I heard I have to file ''Proof of Claim'' form, can I do it myself or do I need a lawyer.
Thanks

Although there is no guarantee that you will get paid, you should file a claim anyway. Attach any documents proving the validity of the debt and the amount owed. Expect to have to wait and wait for payment. You do not need an attorney to file a claim, unless you feel that filling out the claim form is too difficult.
