Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada

Dismiss

I filed voluntary petition for Chp13 in Nevada district. The first meeting of creditors is on Sept. 25. If I want to dismiss the case, a)what will be the procedure for me to do, b)what forms to be filed? c)where I can find these froms to print or download or purchase?

Re: Dismiss

A simple pleading (with the court caption--name of court, name of debtor, case number, etc) entitled Request for Voluntary Dismissal will do it. In the body state, "Comes now debtor above-named and requests this Court to dismiss the above-entitled action." Then put signature line. File it with the clerk and the court will issue an order. Maybe it's better to lodge an Order. Another pleading entitled Order Dismissing Case. "Upon request of the debtor and good cause appearing, it is ordered that this case be dismissed without prejudice." Date and signature line for Bankrupcy Judge.
