Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada
I need to file chapter 7 bk. I am a 1099'd employee. my attorney told me that I will need to provide 6 months bank statements. I don't have a bank account my ex bounced some checks and I got put on check systems. Can I still file if I don't have a bank account and not a w2's employee?

You can file for Bankruptcy even if you don't have wages or a checking account. However, if you do have any bank account, you need to provide the bank records. Since you don't receive a paycheck, you will need to document your income in some other way, such as with a profit & loss statement or a record of your 1099 income.
