how hard is it to try to get your student loans discharged in Bankruptcy?

if you meet the criteria, the process isn't that hard, but meeting the criteria is what is hard. You should try to apply for programs outside of bankruptcy before attempting to discharge student loan debt in bankruptcy. Se In Re Brunner.
