Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Nevada
reafirm secured loan
Is it mandatory in the state of Nevada to reafirm an auto loan? We are presently several payments behind on our auto and home loan. My wife has had to cut back her hours at work due to a severe foot problem thereby cutting our income drastically. Can she reguest $1000.00 of vacation pay to help bring us current before our meeting of creditors?

Re: reafirm secured loan
No, it is not required to reaffirm the auto loan. However, the company may require it if you are in arrearages as opposed to reposessing the auto.
