Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
We have an alarm system that was installed by APX Alarm System 4 years ago, we signed a contract for 5 years. They are now called VIVINT. We have found our system has not been working for months. Our phone provider (Charter) changed from analog to digital without our knowledge so our system no longer communicates and VIVINT says we need to upgrade to another system for $299, or pay every month through the end of our contract for nothing. We are senior citizens, what will happen if we quit paying.
