Legal Question in Business Law in Nevada
I am a consultant, and I have a client that wants to create 3 LLC's. He wants to personally own the parent LLC, and have the parent LLC own the two other LLC's.
He believes it's possible to have an LLC own another LLC, but both the "Articles of Organization" and "Initial List of Managers or Managing Members" seem to ask for the names of Managers and Managing Members. I don't see anything about entering the "Member" such that he would manage the child LLC's, but it would the Member would be the parent LLC.
Is it possible for one LLC to own another?
How do you tell the state who owns the LLC?
