I am starting a new business, an LLC, with some other people and want to know how to draw up an agreement of ownership between us and want to know if there is a form or do I need a lawyer to make it legal.

Most LLCs have an operating agreement prepared by an attorney.

For your LLC, you will need to file the articles of incorporation and initial list of managers with the Nevada Secretary of State. An operating agreement defines the roles of the managers and/or members and details the roles and responsibilities of the managers and members. In addition, the operating agreement will discuss the respective ownership of the managers and/or members as well as how the dissolution of the company will occur.
I have drafted a number of operating agreements for LLCs and would be happy to do so in this situation. Please feel free to contact my office if you would like to move forward.
